Classy move by the kid. Golson currently wears #5, and I don't know how much influence the coaching staff... equipment manager etc... have over changing the #'s. But if Gunner wants it, & Everett isn't gonna stand in his way, it'd be a very cool way of honoring his uncle.

I would absolutely love to see it be permanent. Golson hasn't played yet so he can make whatever number he wants his own on the field. I don't see why swapping numbers would be a big deal to him, but we'll see.
