QB : If neither guy is ready, what are BK's choices ?

He can throw one or both of them into the fire anyway. He can simplify the offense. He can emphasize the run more with the tailbacks.. Maybe even use his qb's more as runners since both are good runners. Which do you think is the best plan ? Which will he do ? Or, have you thought of any other possibilities ?

i think the schedule sets up good for Notre Dame for the starting qb to get his feet wet navy perfect opening game then purdue so thats 2 games of good experience so thats a plus i say you start Golson and stick with him dont bench him but hendrix is capable to i cant wait to see the decision that will be made. What i want is Golson he can make alot all the throws and he is a big play maker go irish!

I realize it was only a spring game, however, Golson looked better than Hendrix. Not only in that game, but when comparing Golson's spring game with the games Hendrix played last year he still appears more talented. Golson has to start and we have to deal with the growing pains. Could be a long season.

Why do u assume growing pains with Golson? Sophomore Rees went 8-5 last year and doesn't have near the ability of Golson.

TR had issues, but seemed pretty composed under pressure, he also read defenses well, according to BK as well as others. Golson is more talented, but we haven't seen him in a big game under pressure which can make a huge difference. Also, he doesn't have a lot of experience in reading defenses which could be an issue. I just think it takes a few real games for a new QB to get used to things.

Reading defenses, but bad passing decisions. I'm definately no football expert. Was just going by BK's assessment of TR's knowledge.
