    He may start at #1 next year, but I doubt he finishes there... Especially if he tanks against Stanford.

    That is incorrect. You ae a reasonable poster, atlas, so I shan't be insulting to your opinion, but TR is the Danny Wuerful of the the decade.

  • Rees is tebow in the nfl. Tebow has been winning but he may be the worst Qb in the league. Denver is winning with defense and the running game just like nd. Nd defense gave up 14 today, give them credit. Rees is bad and if you can't see that you do not know football at all. We have a top 3 wr top 3 te top 5 oline top 5 combination backs and can't score against a bad defense.

    I'm a big fan of Rees... so I don't intend to sound anti-TR... but I'm inclined to believe that BK will be unable to resist Everett's (or maybe even Gunner's) mobility during spring camp.

  • ND's record with Rees as the starter is about the only positive metric for Rees. Oh, and his completion percentage...on high percentage passes.

    Tell me how many games ND won with Rees BECAUSE OF Rees...?

    Would you be happy if I strted 3 anti Rees threads? We won. I stated earier Rees has his limitations but you dont respond to that. I dont see clausen on the bench. so i guess we have three choices: rees, hendrix, gholson. Rees remains. Hendrix isnt getting in the game. Gholson? Who knows? So we have Rees and your option: "do you think if Clausen hd this D and this offense...". Ok. Rees isnt Clausen. If memory srves me correctly, Causen loses games like this.

    Please. You're right, we didnt have a D to stop BC, Pitt, Syracuse, Navy, North Carolina, etc...

    I love how you guys explain 07-09 being all a defensive problem.

    Based on your tone mixed with the number of typos in your posts, I am going to assume you have been drinking today. After that performance, I don't blame you. However, maybe cool off a bit and post tomorrow. Rees has won games as a starter but he lacks a lot of tools that are required to be great at the D1 level.

    I might be mistaken but I though we had another scholarship player out there by the name of Crist, although our coach doesn't seem to know that as well. We win inspite of Rees not because. If you are satisfied with mediocraty then Rees is your man. He is a mid major qb at best. I'm sure future potential receivers are drueling over those 3 to 5 yard pass plays if they come to ND.

    I' m sick of Rees and I'm sick of Kelly sticking with him. Not to mention how Rees hangs our receivers out to dry with his high passes and late passes.

    Thanks IW. Here is what I said on the other thread that illestdomer accused me of drunkeness on. BTW, my typos are really a product of typing on an android quickly.

    I give an opinion after a win in a game we used to lose to go 8-3 (8-3 and if he had started against USF would have been 9-2) and i defend him. That's my opinion but some people are more concerned about what his limits are as opposed to what the record is. I dont know what you guys expect. Some of you have annointed Hendrix the answer.I dont know how you make that call unless you are at practice every day evaluating him. Bottom line is, either you think Kelly knows who the best QB on the team is or he doesnt. If you think he doesnt, well, you are gonna be disappointed for another 3 seasons at least because he aint going anywhere.
