Elliott's contributions to the Cyclone football legacy are truly unique as he is in the first months of a third term in a third different decade under a third Iowa State head coach.

This would be a great hire IMO. He coached with Bill Synder on some of his great defensive teams, is a great recruiter, and has alot of ties in the midwest as well as the west coast. I would love this hire.

I love it... Somebody to properly coach the linebackers and DB's to turn and face the ball when covering a receiver in the end zone. It will be great to see ND actually fighting for "jump balls" in the end zone as opposed to having their back to the passer.

Jason ... I assume the reason we are not hearing from ND on the hiring of new OL and DB coaches ... is the background/security checks etc that have to be completed before announcing?
