  • SIMM,
This has nothing to do with football OR what he does for a living AND what does your opinion of him as a coach have to do with this situation!

Who cares what your opinion of him as a coach is or was!

    That was uncalled for!

You can take the man out of Michigan, but you can never take Michigan out of the man.

Wasn't Brown the coach who whined to the media about Navy blocking below the waist after they beat us?

He never impressed me as a player, or a coach.

Lou Holtz and a Notre Dame assistant did the same thing about Air Force years ago.

  • Regardless of anyone's feelings about Corwin Brown as a coach, player, or person, I can't see this as anything but a sad and desperate situation. The fact that anyone would find themselves in a position where they have absolutely no hope is heartbreaking to me. People rarely do this kind of thing when they feel they have other options, and I just can't imagine what it must be like to feel literally on top of the world 4 years ago to feeling like you have nothing left now. My prayers go out to him and especially his family that they will have the strength and the support they all need to heal and move on with their lives in a more positive way.

  • This is one of the most insensitive comments I have ever seen. I don't know how you can associate yourself with Notre Dame and make comments like this. Who cares of he was or wasn't a good player or coach. He gave his best when he was with the school. Let's just pray for him and his family.

I'm shocked. I always thought he seemed like a calm, calculated guy. I can't believe he has seemingly snapped like this. I hope for the best from an obviously terrible situation.

there is a side of all men we'd prefer not to see. hit's closer to home when it's family, our own as well as ND's......
