With Kiel now having chosen LSU, has there been on any word on the status of Arik Armstead, the other massive (in every sense of the word) recruit considering Notre Dame? While I recognize we're in the recruiting dead period, it seems as though there's been little-to-no word on a guy who will be an EE and had Notre Dame high on his list, with a flurry of activity (visits from football and basketball coaches) in recent weeks. Did Cal turn his head when he was there? Are the Irish still in the mix?
