Idealy, run oriented Stanford should test the biggest preseason question mark on the condoms team - their defensive front. The only problem is that Stanford lost three starters from their offensive line and it is unclear how good their offensive line is this year. It doesn't figure to be as good as last years since half of it is new.

Stanford needs to control the ball because they are not likely to score with Usc.
