Steve Orsini Dismissed From SMU

SMU athletic director Steve Orsini was "dismissed effective immediately," via a school release. No other details were given.
Orsini was the special teams captain and backup fullback for Notre Dame's 1977 national championship team and his name has often been linked to the AD job at his alma mater when it has been vacated. He also had been Notre Dame's ticket manager in the early 1980s.
