Un-#!*@#$&*-believable!!! In a great way!
I am so sick of the "our coaches can't recruit" and "it's impossible to go head-to-head" with Urban Meyer, southern schools, California schools, SEC (Pick your poison) that we hear regularly from some. We have the best recruiting staff in the country. We have one of the best places to be in the country. Once you do away with the natural draws like being close to home, being in warm weather, etc, we can, and do, compete with anyone - and win on a regular basis!
Thanks for the great job of keeping an eye on this B&G staff. Thanks ND coaching staff for your undying effort to bring in the best!

Great commit. The game is moving to these dynamic Tight Ends. He will fit in well with the offense and I am sure be an impact player. I thought FL kids were not going to go to South Bend after Lynch left...

The ND staff wanted 1 TE in this class and they felt there were 3 elite TE's and a significant drop-off after those 3: Brennaman, Heuerman(who they liked for their offense better than Brennaman), and Hunter Henry. Matuska is a being recruited in that Big Skill category much like Troy Niklas with him being projected to be on defense initially. Anything can happen once a player is here and that is why with Kelly and staff you can't get caught up in positions and projections as he is a lot like Lou trying to find versatile athletes and plug them in. This gives us 4 solid TE's on next year's roster with Welch, Koyack, Niklas, and now Heuerman. I know Eifert has a year of eligibility left but he will be in going in the 1st round of the NFL draft this time next year.
