Dear 247Sports,

Cute. That whole site not working stunt you guys pulled this morning. You got me. And since there was no prior warning of 247's morning-time siesta, I was forced to think on the spot. I failed at that. I fumbled around on the keyboard. Stood up. Sat back down. Made some coffee. I tried going to various sites on the internet, only to find out that Octomom would consider doing a porn movie...with no touching.

What?

Seriously. Porn. No touching. That's like tuning in on September 1st, 2012 to watch the Irish play the entire game...without a football. I also learned that John Edwards enjoys sleeping with women not named Mrs. Edwards, five idiots in Ohio wanted to blow up a bridge, and the Texas Rangers won the AL West already. Oh - and some of the declassified info taken from Bin Laden's compound reveal that Bin Laden did not like America.

On a brighter note, I did use some of my newfound time away from 247 to stare at Robin Meade a lot more on the ol' tube this morning. She's a fine lady.

My point in all of this? Having no access to 247 caused mass confusion. I didn't learn anything new. I got more work done (that's not a plus). I was bored. And I can't downvote people who leave comments after an article such as, " Kim Kardashian is so smart." I was left in some isolated island of nothingness void of 247. I almost visited another site dedicated to college football and recruiting. Almost. And - BAM - my faithfulness paid off. I clicked on 247Sports.com (again) and there she was in all her splendor. Welcoming me. Comforting me.
