The question is. Is ND going to beat Navy?

  • Even though the Spring Game is not much of an indication of what will happen in the future, it still left questions as to how ND will perform against Navy. I would have said, "performe this year", but I cannot say right now that ND is going to beat Navy. ND is a 13.5pt. favorite right now. Questions being, Who is the qb going to be and whoever is selected, will he have time to mesh with the offensive unit before playing Navy? Who will the starting wr's be? Who will the starting cb's, safeties and linebackers going to be? Yes, questions to be answered. I do not like the idea of playing in Dublin to begin with. Win or lose, the kids will have jet lag trying to prepare for Purdue. Hopefully, ND can win both of these games. If not, ------------.

  • The kids will get a win and get to a great life experience in getting to see Ireland as well, sure there might be a little jet-lag getting back to the states but that's why we play Purdue week2. So many debbie-downers trying to micro-scrutinize every detail of little things right now. These men will be ready come September, as will all of us members of #ndnation. GO IRISH!

  • Right now, Navy can't stack up against the ND D and the offense, regardless of QB, will have a powerful run game with a very dominant O-line. Personally, I think Tommy R gets a bum rap. He's performed well for a smart kid with limited talent and he's orchestrated 4 comeback wins, five if you include Michigan last year when the defense lost the game in the last 30 seconds. Sure, he has to limit TOs, and yes, it would be nice to have a true spread QB run the offense, but no one has seized the moment, not Hendrix, nor Golson. If Tommy is our best option, I'm sure he'll do his best and I have faith that the coaches will make the right choice in who leads the team.

  • Navy is going to have one of, if not their worst team in 2012 since before the Paul Johnson era. No matter who plays QB, if we don't win by double digits, there will be cause for concern.

    Dobbs was a nightmare and now Navy has lost Michael Proctor, their
    first-string QB who left the team about a week ago.

    If you watched the spring game, and Kelly's interview afterwards, I would think you would believe that TR has seen his last start at ND.

  • Did someone just say Tommy brought back ND against Michigan and the D blew it???? If Tommy Turnover doesn't fumble the ball inside the 10 untouched or force another pass in the redone which resulted in an interception, it wouldn't have mattered if the ND D even took the field on the last drive because it would have been a 2 score game. Tommy Rees lost that game by him self.

    if we can lose to south florida in the opener last year then there's always a chance Navy sinks us in the opener this year.

  • The "O" can stay by the pool. Bob's "D" will win big on D and play pretty good offense after they get their share of TOs.

    P.S. If the "O" decides to make an appearence, then it's even bigger.

    Another opportunity for Sir Brian to clear the benches and play everybody. Great team building is afoot with our great leaders in B&G.
