Rockne's Roundtable

For all of the agony we go through as fans, it's always nice to put thinigs into perspective, and to realize just how lucky we are to have our health and our friends and our families. Today, as I was so consumed with the obvious good fortune we've found ourselves in, a young man and his family popped into my head. Not sure why I thought about him but I did. I said a prayer for them today. I can only imagine how tough it is for them, for it was this time of year that he was going through everything these young recruits are going through. It's a special time for a young athlete and a very proud time for their parents. I wish God's Speed for the James Family, as I can only imagine, and hope to never endure, losing a child is something that stays with you for a lifetime.
