This is one of the worst things that ever happened to me

  • As some of you know, I work for a General Contractor here in Naples Florida. The bulk of my jobs are remodeling condos in High rises for winter residents.

    My boss took me to meet the owners of my next job and low and low and behold the sky fell on me.

    Their summer home is East Lansing Michigan. Needless to say they are staunch Michigan State fans and loath Notre dame. I can't imagine a worse 4 months coming up for me. But I think there is salvation in knowing that the Irish are going to havea great year and most certainly beat Michigan State.

    I don't know what I did to deserve this, but I am getting punished for something in my past.\\I really need us to have a 12-0 season guys. Help me out please!!!!!!!!!

    Easy solution: If i were you under every available space of unfinished work i would write "GO IRISH"..... behind the cabinets, on the framing, on the sub-floor and where ever you can.... That way in 10 more years when they go to remodel you will be laughing last! clover

  • You are looking at this the wrong way. You have been given the perfect opportunity to exact some revenge. Leave a screw a little loose here and there, use less adhesive or caulk than is required, etc.. I am envisioning exploding toilets, sinks, doors faling off the hinges biggrin

  • Leave a deuce in their new toilet as a present once you are done. I'd recommend leaving it in their bathroom sink but this is MSU not scUM or U$Cum.

  • I think you should do the best work you can so they might recommend you to their friends. Just make sure that during the construction you strategically hide ND items throughout their house. In fact everyone on here can send you a little ND voodoo item to hide in the walls, concrete, are even better the room they watch the game in. ND will beat msu for years....lol!

  • Great ideas all. There wil certainly be ND written in every place that will be discovered when they remodel years from now. And I will steal so0me more of your good ideas.

    And yes ND4LIFE, I certainly will do the very best job I can do. I have spent many years helping my bosses build a great reputation for the company and we are highly thought of in Naples.

    But I will get some revenge, you all can bank on that and Thanks for the help!!!!!

  • I live and work in a hotbed of UM and MSU fans. I have tremendous fun poking at them, as I am sure they do at me. To me, it is part of the great appeal of college football. Perhaps you can do things like being sure to wear ND garb every day you are there!
