I'm talking about wade not jaylon smith u idiot

Idiot? Really? First off, that's mature. Secondly, am I supposed to read your mind? Third, he's the #4 ILB in the country. He'll get an offer. It's February 2012.

Matuska and Bivin are most likely canidates. Evan Lisle and Chucky Williams if they are offered.

  • I actually feel pretty good about Heuerman. I think we trail right now but I think his visit puts ND on top. He said in that article that if he commits to ND he will be back for the spring game.

I think it's either tOSU or ND. His brother playing for tOSU is a huge concern.

  • Evan Lisle was offered by Alabama and (gulp) OSU today. Will be a really tough pull now I'm afraid.

I was just about to post the this.. Yea, tOSU is missing on quite a few OL targets it appears they are hitting their second tier kids that are considered Ohio leans. Was hoping they would hold off on offer, definitely changes things.

    #18 -- Keith Ford -- RB -- 5'11"/205 -- Cypress, TX -- Offered

-Keith is a very impressive looking back. Shows great burst and vision, especially once in the open field. Very powerful back. A true #1 back, but will be tough to get out of the South like all other highly-touted Southern kids are.

  • #73 -- Greg Bryant -- RB -- 5'11"/190 -- Delray Beach, FL -- Offered

    - Greg Bryant is very similiar to Ryan Green. He's very quick but lacks the top-end speed of a player like Ford (which doesn't necessarily say he's slow, just that Ford looks to have elite speed). However, he also has some power to him. The best part about him is that despite his Florida roots, he seems very interested in getting out of Florida. This can only work in our favor.

  • #214 -- Chris Hawkins -- CB/S -- 6'/175 -- Rancho Cucamonga, CA -- Offered

-Just received his offer, and it was a great one to throw out. His interest in ND is very high and given what a versatile athlete he is, the feelings should be mutual. Chris has the speed and quickness to play CB, but also has the size and tackling ability to play S. Once he has the chance to get a little bigger, I can most definitely see him similar to Blanton but quicker. I don't want to get too far ahead, but he sees to be a great student who truly appreciates ND's academic record and storied history. I would not be surprised to see him commit to ND.

Great RB. Ford has made it clear he will be leaving the state of Texas. Pretty sure he's a military kid that's not from TX.

Bryant is a much more physical back than Green. I'd compare him to Trent Richardson without the top end speed.

    Sorry did not find ranking.

    from wickapedia

"The College of Engineering was established in 1920,[51] however, early courses in civil and mechanical engineering were a part of the College of Science since the 1870s.[52] Today the college, housed in the Fitzpatrick, Cushing, and Stinson-Remick Halls of Engineering,[53] includes five departments of study – aerospace and mechanical engineering, chemical and biomolecular engineering, civil engineering and geological sciences, computer science and engineering, and electrical engineering – with eight B.S. degrees offered. Additionally, the college offers five-year dual degree programs with the Colleges of Arts and Letters and of Business awarding additional B.A. and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees, respectively.[54]"

  • NDGuy - Nice work - very impressive job. Jaylon Smith is a no brainer definitely a must have. Having Pocic paired with Elmer would be TOO awesome. ND needs to keep our TE pipeline going with Breneman. Absolutely right on with WR Robert Foster. Getting Ty Isaac out of Texas would quite a recruiting coup to say the least. Chris Hawkins - really like this young man - I think he's a total ND 'fit'.

Again - your work is appreciated and impressive - thanks. GO IRISH!!

Idk, his highlight my not indicate it, but Green's a physical back.. It could be that Mike Alstott is helping coach him.

many of the players you listed don't have ND offer yet. Just pointing that out. As far as the UM commits Hoke has a policy that once you are a commit there will be no more looking around, visits. Should you decide to visit another school your offer is pulled. We need to win on the field and everything else will fall in place. Imagine what kind of noise we would make on the trail if we were winning 10 games a year and playing in BCS games. Take a hard look at UM, then multiply that times two.

star69 - "...We need to win on the field and everything will fall in place...". Many of these young men do value high academics and tradition that ND offers but they are competitors and want to be with a winning program - 10wins and BCS eligible would be a 'deal closer'. GO IRISH!!

  • It's only a matter of time. As I've said time and time again, 2013 will be our year to make a run and every year there after. This class has a lot of big-time players that could come in and contribute to that. I am just hopeful that we get our QB situation taken care of and everything else should hopefully align itself from there.

  • Added:

    #51 -- Kylie Fitts -- DE/OLB -- 6'4"/250 -- Redlands, CA -- Offered

-Fitts is a very impressive kid. He seems to be a perfect fit for our 3-4 defense and has the speed and strength to contribute immediately. I believe he will come into the fall of 2013 at 265 lbs. or so and could fit in as Lynch did for us in 2011. The biggest concern I have currently is that Tosh Lupoi is working him hard already for Washington and we know how effective that guy is..

    #228 -- Alex Anzalone -- LB -- 6'3"/220 -- Reading, PA -- Offered

-Quick, athletic LB for his size. He's very versatile and could play inside or outside for us. Ran for 900 yards and 13 TD's as RB on his 11-1 team last year. He's a kid I expect to move up in the rankings as the camps progress. Will be in SB for our second junior day. I look forward to seeing more of him.

    #3 – Laremy Tunsil – OT – 6’6”/275 – Lake City, FL -- Offered

"USC, LSU, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Michigan are schools that I am focused on right now," Tunsil told Rusty Mansell of Dawgs247.com.

    #38 – Joey Bosa – DE/OLB – 6’5”/260 – Fort Lauderdale, FL -- Offered

"I would say Alabama is at the top, and then after that would be in no particular order, all even, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Florida," St. Thomas Aquinas head coach Rocco Casullo told Chris Nee of Rivals.com. "We have to come up with a fifth one."
