    NDGuy I sent you a PM last week. I wanted you to look at Michigans 2013 recruiting thread and see if you could provide links like they have for each player. Makes it a lot easier to get the latest on each player. I would but I'm on mobile 99% of the time. If not NDGuy would someone else step up and do it? Also we need to get the 2014 thread rolling. Anyone know who the mods are? Would love to get the 2013 and 2014 threads pinned to the top of the page.

    I'm on it Star. It's more complicated then it looks. Haha. Should hopefully have it figured out here in the next day or so and then it's just inputting it all.

    I will be starting a 2014 thread as well similar to this one, but I want to be able to use hyperlinks on it from the get go so I don't have to go back and re-do it. Work smarter not harder.

    Thank you! Forgot him! I like that kid. I know there has been discussion about Keeon Johnson and I must say, I'm on JWoods side here. He has improved his 40 time, but to me that's the least of the worries.. From what I've seen, he isn't physical at the point of attack or in jump ball situations. A big receiver is no good to us if he isn't physical. I would prefer Robinson and if not him, let's look harder at Cunningham, LeMay, and some of the other FL kids.

  • Alright here is the latest #'s breakdown for the class: The ND staff will take between 22-24 commits in this class right now:

    QB - 1(full)
    RB - 1(most likely Green)
    WR - 3(likely prefer 4 if they get the right 4th a la OL)
    TE - 1(full)
    OL - 5(Nailed it)
    DL - 3(Rochelle and Sherit along w/ Matuska, could go 4 potentially here)
    LB - 4(Smith, Ball, Randolph and I'm going to say Chans Cox)
    CB - 4(Great start with Kinlaw and Butler now we go cherry picking)
    S - 1(may only take if we can get an elite kid like Redfield, Cravens, McQuay or Willis would do)

    There is some obvious flexibility in there at a couple of positions to get 1 more or 1 less but this is the likely breakdown for now

  • Love the thread, nothing to add but a question. I was wondering how we are doing with pursuing that third cb? Also is there a burner out there at wr that we look good for? I know about the AZ guy but anyone else we could be in shape for.

    The 2 best elite bets at WR are Demarcus Robinson and Steven Mitchell. I haven't done my due diligence on Steven Mitchell to comment on him other than I have heard he's an elite target that ND has an great shot at landing in this class.

    I don't see up pulling Mitchell either if USC offers watch out. Oregon and Washington are teams to watch too. NC WR Johnson and GA WR Robinson are more realistic. At this time I don't see us landing any California kids, which is rare. I'd be surprised if we don't land a Cali kid.

    I just shared what I have heard. I never said that Mitchell would be Irish. Just that he along with Demarcus Robinson are the 2 elite WR's that ND has the best shot with and obviously Demarcus Robinson is the one we are in solid position with.

    Could add Ngakoue at LB too.. Willis I would like to have at CB and don't forget about Bell at S..

    I am curious to see who the fourth WR will be.. I feel really good about DeMarcus Robinson, but I haven't heard any fourth names that seem really interested at this point.

  • Booker has visited Vonn Bell and a punter in GA today. Alford visited Devin Washington a DL out of FL as well. Mastrogiovanni was offered by Arkansas and BAMA visited him as well.

    NR/#42 DE -- Ebenezer Ogundeko -- DE/OLB -- 6'4"/235 -- Brooklyn NY -- Offered

    -Ebenezer is an interesting prospect. Despite his 3-star rating, he is a player I expect to move drastically. He is big at 6'4"/235, fast at 4.7, and only going to get bigger. I expect him to get into college and play at 260-270 lbs. depending on whether he's a 43 end or 34 OLB. Hopefully he loves the Irish and we can add him to the stable of LB's we're accumulating.
