-We just offered DeMarcus and it is one heckuva offer. He is the ideal fit at DE in our 3-4 defense and while I question his listed speed on his 247 profile (4.6 40), even if he is close to that he is going to be another Lynch. I am not sure what's going on in Jacksonville, but that place is a hotbed and we NEED to lock up it's two biggest names in Fulwood and Walker. They have to be priorities.

- I really am a fan of this kid. He does seem like a very good athlete, and while I would rather land Cravens, McQuay III, or Redfield, I would not be upset about landing him. The only question I have is what would happen then? He isn't an elite hitter like Cravens or Redfield and doesn't seem to be at the same level as McQuay in coverage; I just bring this up because he seems very similiar to Turner, Prosise, Baratti, Badger, and all the other safeties we have coming in this year. They are all good safeties, but they are not elite (with the exception possibly being Shumate IMO). I feel we have the depth at S, now we just need to add a game-changer. I think the three I list are capable of that, but Byrd will have to show me more to convince me he belongs on that short list.
