'Getting the offer was a big deal,' the four-star QB told BlueandGold.com. 'Notre Dame is legendary in college football. 'I'm going to talk to my parents about visiting.' -- This can't be a bad thing. Has prototypical size and is a bit like Gunner Kiel in that he is a 'pocket-passer', but he has more mobility than you'd expect. Great offer.

"I'm going to research what goes on at the school and in the environment. The surroundings will be important to me because I really don't want to go far. I don't plan on going to school out West or in the South or anything."

If he is true to his word, he should be a slam dunk for ND. However, I do think we are neck and neck with Penn State. The fact that the SEC and PAC-12 are out already can only help. Hopefully we can really woo him at Junior Day.

-We just offered DeMarcus and it is one heckuva offer. He is the ideal fit at DE in our 3-4 defense and while I question his listed speed on his 247 profile (4.6 40), even if he is close to that he is going to be another Lynch. I am not sure what's going on in Jacksonville, but that place is a hotbed and we NEED to lock up it's two biggest names in Fulwood and Walker. They have to be priorities.
