Official list from Notre Dame of its signees includes a bio for Eddie Vanderdoes.

Dan,
You guys have mentioned the signing ceremonies are usually formalities. Is it possible that he sent in a LOI, but ND never intended to release his name?
Don't blame you guys for reporting it, but I wish he would have had 'his moment'.

Could easily mean that he has committed to ND and sent in his LOI. Hence why he was added to the bio list. Just my positive 2 pennies.

Notre Dame made a mistake in including Vanderdoes' bio it would appear. They took those back and handed out new ones sans Vanderdoes.

I find it unforgiveable that Notre Dame released anything with Eddie Vanderdoes listed. Epic fail. Best case, they received his LOI and he settles down based on his comments. Worst case, ND was a little too hopeful and he removes them from consideration for being inept.

It was probably an intern or staffer that messed up- I highly doubt it shows any ineptitude on the program as a whole. Kelly and his staff have worked too hard on this guy to allow something as silly as this to mess it up assuming he does plan on committing to ND...
