24 "official" offers is actually very good and Smith discontinued landing new offers during the May evaluation period because he had already narrowed his focus down to Notre Dame, Ohio State and USC.
Prospects that report 50+ offers -- in most cases probably half of those are committable ones.

I really wanted this kid because of his talents on the field. After watching this I'm glad we have him as a representative for our football team & not just a player. He gets it & he will slide into the leadership role Manti will be vacating. Go Irish
