"Wrong kid died".... from walk hard w/dewey cox lol. But in this case "wrong kid won the heisman". I hate the SEC even more now. It is sick how much they love each other and ride the success of others in the conference. For some reason Manziel winning really irks me. 2 losses and was absent in those game .One big game and padded stats against crap defenses. I will be cheering so hard for Oklahoma to wax Texas AM. I am very confident Oklahoma will drop a lot of points on them.
Thanks for sharing, i love the water bottle getting tossed, lol.

Just so everyone knows - you don't have to think that Manziel is a terrible human being or anything less than a great football player to admit/recognize that Te'o got robbed.
I honestly couldn't care less about the mission to give defensive players the recognition. If ND didn't have a defensive player in the running, I wouldn't have even bothered watching last night, but the big problem here is that a kid who absolutely embodies everything you want in a student-athlete lost to a kid who certainly had enough off the field blights and on the field duds to warrant doing the "right" thing when it doesn't cost you a thing.
Johnny Manziel didn't rob a bank, and he didn't accept money from Auburn boosters to join the program, but he did have his character questions, and Te'o, on the other hand, has not had a single run-in during his FOUR years, has been an excellent ambassador for not only his university but also his faith, and has stayed true to his four year commitment. I'm not a proponent of giving someone an award just for suffering or sacrificing, but Te'o had a Heisman year after turning down what would've been a lucrative NFL contract and grieving the loss of both his girlfriend and grandmother the same day.
To Te'o's credit, he said all the right things about the Heisman, and I am sure he means all of them. He certainly won plenty of awards this year; so, he got his recognition, but it's just a shame that "the" award failed to recognize his achievement and contribution to the 2012 college football season. At least six others got it right.
Congrats to Manziel, but they should just make the award an offensive award because obviously if Manti can't win it with the season he had then I don't have any hope for future defensive Heisman finalists.
I am guessing their Facebook status was similar to mine.
Felt just like those guys....Absolute BS!
During the Kentucky ND basketball game, Dick Vitale interviewed Manti. Manti said how close the football team and basketball team were. Reactions by Cooley and Atkins proved that.
I guess the basketball team was less than pleased. In 75 years,
the award has gone to running backs, quarterbacks and the
occasional wide receiver---that's 75 years of no offensive
linemen, no defensive linemen, no linebackers and no
members of the secondary.
According to the Heisman Trust, fully 80% of collegiate
football players through the years have been effectively
disenfranchised. What myopia.
This post is actually by Hemy--for some reason, my

I could get back on was to open a completely
