Awesome! !!! We really enjoyed our time with the Robinson's. This going to be a great class - going to have a lot of kids that have similar values; even as strangers these kids click. As a parent I am thrilled with the way this class is starting to shape up - great bunch of kids.

Always nice to see your input Mr. Elmer. Steven excited about all of his rather LARGE playmates, in Mr's Bivins, McGovern and McGlinchey?

WRs coach Brandon Parrott on Robinson:

"Absolutely perfect fit! Notre Dame just got a huge gift that's going to get better with time. I love this kid."

Mo. Stovall type of WR,good size.

  • Over on the Texas board I asked a question if anyone has seen this kid play. Head over there and look at the responses.

  • Steven Elmer asked Corey if he was going to be back up for the B&G game. Corey said that he would be along with his family.

Yes yes yes yes!¡!¡! Every kid in this class has a good head on their shoulder and really appears to value Notre Dame as a whole. Staff is def doing a better job of getting RKG's!

  • How fortunate for the Irish that this quality lad, Corey Robinson, has selected the University of Our Lady as his future educational home. Both he and the University will greatly benefit from from his prayerful decision. Thanks to you too, Dad, for your support of same.

Big kid and maybe he will grow another inch or two..great moral values and standards and to decide after just one visit that this is the right place for him priceless..Congrats to the Robinson family and cant wait to see the Admiral at a football game ...

If memory serves, his dad grew more than a few inches when he was at Navy. I don't think you can enter the Naval Academy at that height. Wouldn't it be great to have a 6-7 or 6-8 wide receiver in a couple of years!

Went over and checked it out, I along with many others it sounds, feel he is going to grow into the tight end, position wise.
star I like your response to maninblack and his shot about Kelly. I really feel that people saw the one minute clip that Espn ran on the issue and than it blew out of proportion.

Yea, see those dumb comments everywhere. Sure it turns a few kids away, but don't think we need those kind of players here anyway. Most of our players seem to like the tough love approach. I really believe that Corey isn't done growing and ends up at TE. Let him RS first year to add much needed weight and BOOM we have a stud TE in the same mold as Saints TE. That would also solve needing 2 TE's in this class. We'd only need 1 more and could take 2 more WR's with one being a slot receiver.

  • Again my exact thoughts on only needing one tight end now in this class. And a question for you: Could Elliot, were he to commit, be the hybrid back more slot guy, assuming Green commits, or Isaac? Or is Green at 6'0" and all that speed being looked at more as a corner for this class and it's needs?

Green is a RB not moving to CB. Elliott could play that hybrid role, but with our glaring need for CB's I don't see him staying on O unless we sign 3 other CB's. If we do that I'd love for him to stay on O. Have you watched his film? Lines up outside a lot and makes catches down the field with great running back skills too.

  • Haha that's what happens when you type when you are really tired. I meant Elliot not Green. If we are fortunate to land Green I imagine he becomes our bell-cow. He looks to be that kind of back.
