From what I've read, it looks like there is a QB battle going on. I believe all 3 guys will be in the race, but my gut says BK wants either EG or AH to step up so GK can preserve a year.
My question is, with less than 30 practices (29 I believe is the number allowed) between now and Dublin, when should BK make a decision? Whoever it is going to be is going to have little to no game experience, so the difference between 50-50 and 80-20 snaps a practice is a HUGE difference. Oklahoma st picked their QB before the spring game and said they are gonna stick with the kid.
I think that he should make his decision somewhere between 18-15 practices left. This way, if lets say the QBs take a total of 100 snaps a practice, this will give the starter an additional 350-440 extra snaps. Though it is no substitute for game time experience, it will have him much more prepared.
What are your guys thoughts on when the decision should be made? We can really only have 1 main guy, so I would hate to see valuable snaps taken away due to a drawn out evaluation.
