Thanks troll. We'll see u January 7
In real life, as you grow older and wiser, you will learn that accidents happen...regardless...
--- to even suggest or imply that somehow BK was responsible because he was the head coach of the football team is ludicrous.
I'm not a fanatical fan of BK...more critical of him than anyone on this forum, or anywhere, unlike most on this forum, the premium forum, and elsewhere,
--- but this crap about BK's responsibility in that accident is B+++ S+++.
Why can't Declan and Lizzy rest in peace without the whole incident being played out again on a free message board. I would prefer the mods shut down any thread that deals with any student's death. Discussing tragic incidents like Declan or Lizzy serves zero purpose other than to inflame. That's the sole purpose. We are not in the know of what happened before, during, and after and I sure as hell don't trust the media with reporting the actual truth about anything, including the stupe who wrote the piece in the first place. The mods need to act and shut these type inflamatory discussions down.
Allen Tide -
Is now the time that bring up the racists that have supported your team over the years? The fact that your team wouldn't allow non-white players for years?
What's sad is your school's graduation rate, and the fact you are a part of the scuzziest conference in the nation.
How much do Bama boosters have to pay for a 5 star player, huckleberry? The SEC represents everything wrong with college athletics.
They mentioned the girls name but why hasn't the players names been released? Anyone involved in this should have been mentioned in some police or campus police report. If my daughter committed suicide and was treated like this I would have named EVERY NAME I could.I would have talked to every paper and talk show in the Country to clear my daughters name.If anybody know who theses punks were then say so.
I still don't understand why anyone can't find out who the players were? Surly her parents know so why not say who they were. Any newspaper should be able to find this out.Plus any newspaper who hates ND (and there are plenty) would love to expose there names just to sully ND.
The reason is this: The person who accused them committed suicide. The prosecutors may have no evidence to prosecute anyone. Without the accuser, there is no in court testimony under oath against them. They also did not cause the suicide as the cause of death has been determined to be suicide. Publishing names will therefore likely lead to a defamation suit.

well "slow to investigate" or "smells as a cover up" are probably not good reasons to ruin people's lives. whether you think ND was slow or did not seem to care is not the issue. It's peoples reputations that are in play. "mucho dollars" whatever, you're spewing out of your ass. but don't you come out here and say you're an ND fan. you obviously hate the school
This is the rumor and gossip that I was talking about. You were not there. You don't know anybody who was there. You don't know anybody who investigated the case, yet, here you are, gossip and rumors on a message board about a tragic event that you will never know the who's, why's, and where's....no matter how much you try. Citing SI as your source is laughable at best, sad at its' very core. Truth be told, you don't need to know the details or names because this tragic event is none of your business. The administration and the family have both come to terms. Not everything is black and white.
Bear Bryant knew he couldn't win without African American athletes but the school wouldn't let him have black players so he had to schedule a home game against USC and take an ass beating against them just to prove it to the powers that be in Tuscaloosa. For that, Bryant is given a good deal of credit for creating opportunities for back athletes in the South. That said, Bear Bryant is no Jackie Robinson.
Can anyone explain how Alabama claims a National Championship in 1941? Is this some kind of inside joke? They lost 2 games and I think they finished third in their own Conference! Is it too late to claim the title for 1989?
You're not as clever as you think you are and I didn't have to read that in SI or Parade. Gossip away if that makes you feel smarter than everyone else in the room.
Some of you act like you just discovered that the events just happened. Lizzy and Declan are both free and are in a much better place than any of us. What's the goal here? you want BK to resign? You want Father Jenkins brought up on charges? You want ESPN to do a 30/30 DOC on the dirty program ND runs? You want names because.....why? Just for your own curiosity or do you plan to do a one person crusade on campus about the dirty program BK runs? Here's a news flash.......not all ND's business is your business. The matter is between ND and both families. If you are so obsessive about these two tragic events, take your own advice and do some of your own investigative work. You can start with the players and staff themselves. Report back to us . You do understand that family members may read these boards and with it comes your gossip and rumor filled ramblings.
You must still be pissed that your Illustrious Bear Bryant could not beat Notre Dame in four gams. 0-4.
With 35 bowl games this season, we are going to see a variety of offenses and the best defenses in the nation. While some people like a defensive game, there are many fans who do not mind seeing some points...

OH OK, then my post is for any Alabama fan.
"ND did not care". Your opinion, not fact. ""Cover up". Your opinion, not fact. "Mucho dollars given, I am sure". Your opinion, not fact. You are the rumor king of this story. I am not influenced by SI or Parade. That's your gig. You are very young. That too will pass. I'm telling you, you are not as clever as you think you are.
What's happening? Andrew Moser from Buffalo, N.Y., writes: Hey Matt, What do you think are the chances Wood and Nix choose not to declare for the dra
The deadline for players to declare eligibility for the NFL draft is quickly approaching, and there are a few players for Notre Dame who have a tough decision to make...
Purdue just another foe for Notre Dame's Martin
So how did Notre Dame get to Miami, where it will face the Crimson Tide in the BCS National Championship on Jan. 7? Here’s the short version:
SOUTH BEND | Both are redshirt freshmen. Both have led their teams to January bowls. Both are dangerous because they’re adept at eluding tacklers and extending plays.
