Wow, she is trying her best to make Manti look bad. Her very best. Sorry Katie. Manti is not the evil person you wish he would look like on your show.
I have it DVR'd. I'm not sure I'm going to even watch it.
You are like an annoying nat...........you just won't go away. Kind of like those jet skiers zipping around my boat as I'm trying to fish. Viva go away por favor!
rgunner, please read the Lou article.
Maybe you will learn something about faith.
And then also read the HamOnWry22 comment to Lou's article.
rgunner, your comments are a joke on the BlueandGold message boards. Nobody thinks you like ND. You are referenced on this awesome thread as a troll. Why? Because everyone is tired of hearing your negative comments about ND and bashing of Manti.
Just a note of interest from someone who was there. The student snowballs came from the freshman/soph section. The junior section. The senior section. Translated...the Notre Dame cheerleaders, police, NBC cameramen, sideline staff, ushers, and anybody else who where close to the field were a target. Including me. It wasn't a direct attack on the players as you want to believe. Sorry to interupt your rant. Proceed.
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. The student seating isn't anything close to what you are saying. In order for a freshman to hit the team bench from their seating area, he would need an arm like Nolan Ryan. The freshman sit in sections 32/33, which is located in the northwest part of the stadium. In other words, in the corner of the north endzone, rows 1-50 something. To make it plain and simple, a freshman would need to throw a snowball over 50 yards to hit the team bench. All the students were throwing snowballs at anything that moved below them. The students that are closest to the team bench are the seniors. The students also throw marshmallows at anything that has a pulse on Senior day. The way the team played against The Cuse that snowy day, I was ready to throw a few snowballs myself.
The best way to handle people who troll on the boards is to simply ignore them. If you're careful never to comment on one of their posts they get tired of trying to attract attention and either get serious or go away.
Everyone must learn that everyone on this board has a right to their opinion, no matter how much the majority disagree. I find most of rgunner's opinions crazy and completely disagree with most of them. However, he has a right to share them in a public forum. The best way to deal with them is to chuckle, ignore, and move on. Remember, even with overwhelming evidence proving the earth was round, there were still some that truly believed the earth was flat. Rgunner is strong in his beliefs and opinions, just as we are in ours. As long as opinions and beliefs are expressed in a mature manner, we must all respect each others right to express them. Go Irish!!!
Since this is a free message board, you do get posters on here that would ordinarily get banned on a premium site. Thought provoking and insightful negative comments is not what we're talking here. You know it and I know it. The obscure references that are badly misplaced for the topic being discussed, continued negative comments about anything and everything, and just plain wrong facts. This is your idea of strong beliefs? This is your idea of mature? He is just here to provoke. No insightful comments, just provoke. If you want to carry his banner then go ahead. I was a long time regular on another major free board and I know a thing or two about flamers who's only intention is to provoke. The guy can post rambling comments until the end of time, but I'm telling you right now it adds nothing to make this board a better place. As anyone has the right to post anything within the board rules, the rest of us has the right to reply if we so choose.
I agree with Ween 100%. I really don't understand. We're supposed to "ignore" but he's allowed to instigate? That's ridiculous. How bout Rgunner deal with what the repercussions of what he's dishing out and he can " chuckle, ignore, and move on"? I like that better.
Ween, I am in no way defending rgunner's opinions, just the right to voice them. I completely agree with you. I find his opinions to be not that of an Irish fan. I am merely saying its better to just ignore, I find it a waste of time to use facts or common senses to debate with him. I wish he wasn't here, but it's a public forum. Again, I am in complete agreement with you! Go Irish!!
It's just a free message board and none of this is life and death anyway.
