his ND players/recruits. He released 10 players from the Kansas quad.
I don't know where Kansas has needs but I'm sure ND has some guys that would like to play for Kansas to help themselves and Weis set the tone in his first year to get the buzz going for next years recruiting class.
ND is gonna do everything in their power to keep Slaughter, KLM, and Cave.
But Cwynar and Golic Jr. will be a luxury.
Here are the guys that don't stand a chance:
That would be interesting . Like to see it happen .
8 Spots total remaining - Assuming both Armsteads, Ekenam, and Wright all come on board (which in itself is a big assumption) that still leaves 4 Spots. Even if there is a surprise we still have 3 spots for Cave, Slaughter and KLM. My guess is the 4th Spot would be Mike Golic Jr as there is no true Back up center and as we saw , it is not so easy just to throw someone in there. My guess is Badger will not be factored in initially as there will likely be at least one spot opening up after the Spring. ( Do not believe either Tommy or Hendrix should be content as #4 on the Depth Chart). All of the above assumes that the reports that Goodman was granted a 5th year with Scholarship are erroneous. ( If they are true then I just want to slap Kelly in the side of the head and say "Hello?, McFly" )
As to Weis leaving spots open, I am sure he ill be picking off some of the Florida Srs who do not get their 5th as well
