And my Detroit Tigers are 4-0 — the only undefeated team left in the American League. Who's your team? I'd like to know how to direct my smack talk this season.
I'm from Cleveland and now live in Cubs country
No smack talk is necessary...I already know...
My Cubs are going to have another long year. Cubs bullpen is rough this year. Truly believe Samardzija and Dempster are the only good pitchers. Wood has had it rough lately. I hope Castro has a good year.
NY Mets!!!...also 4-0, but probably with a less positive outlook than your Tigers...
I am Mardi Gras
I went through a phase as a kid when I was a Mets fan. I'm sure glad I got over that sickness. I still have stacks of Darryl Strawberry and Doc Gooden cards.
Watching my reds right now, glad they are spending all this money to score 1-2 runs a night...
Damnit, Tampa Bay just rallied for a 4-2 win over Detroit. Time to start a new streak.
At least your boys are in better shape than my Bosox. Could be a long summer without Theo around to clean up the mess this time.
Yes, Murph, it was really nice to start the year with a spring cleaning sweep of your BoSox. Thanks for the early momentum.
So are you a Cubs and Indians fan? I just saw that Cleveland forced Kansas City into using a position player on the mound in the 9th. Don't see that very often.
Paul Maholm is off to a great start as a Cub, eh? Yikes.
NL Central is pretty wide open this year, isn't it? Nice win over Washington Sunday.
White Sox righty Philip Humber visited Cooperstown, looked around and was awed. “I’ve been to the Hall of Fame,’’ Humber, 29, said. ‘‘I’ve seen the stuff that’s there. And now, to think that something of mine is going to be there? It’s pretty awesome. I don’t know what to say about it.’’ Humber artifacts are headed to baseball’s hallowed museum after he pitched the 21st perfect game in major-league history Saturday.
Yikes, would be correct.
Strange to see the Yankees and Red Sox at the bottom of the AL East standings. In other news, Cleveland can't win at home but is 9-3 on the road.
This is awesome:
What's more unusual than a team hitting back-to-back homers? How about one fan catching both of them.
I think my Tigers are starting to figure things out. The six-game winning streak is the longest in baseball and desperately needed to catch up with the White Sox.
Back in business with a win over Baltimore Sunday.
Detroit sweeps Chicago for 1 1/2 game lead in the AL Central. Boom!
Nope, this thread isn't locked. I'm just alone.
You're not alone. Sox fans realize that neiither the White Sox or Tigers have accomplished anything yet, The time for playground chatter is after winning the World Series. Not during the season with 30 games left. Tigers were predicted by many to win the division. Sox were predicted to be a ittle better than a minor league team. And here we are, a run to the finish line. In little less than a decade, the White Sox have two perfect games, a no hitter, a division title and a World Series title. Not too shabby.
I'm definitely a Cleveland fan today.

I got to go to the Tigers-Royals game Monday. It's pretty rare that I get to take in a game during the football season, but it worked out with the bye week. Plus, it was a makeup game from April and it was a good excuse to give to my wife that there was no sense in wasting money by not going.
The White Sox are ruining my life. Many veterans on this team and they still don't know how to finish. Attending a life insurance seminar would be more interesting than watching these bums tank. The Tigers are winning at just the right time and deserve the title. Plus, their hitting coach is from my hometown.
Two more wins away from the World Series, baby!
