Moderator: how would you fix the state of this board, specifically?
Answer: My plan will work. It will have 5 trillion posters and not rely on math to make sense. I love the middle class of posters...how many posts do they make a year again?...anything less than mllions and I simply can't identify. Obama has been a great president. It is so easy to say he has failed while letting other people off the hook. The entire, entire Republican Party made it a point to never cooperate with him, ever! So while it is easy to point to one man and say "it's his fault", for all your "get up in the morning and hug the constitution types" this is a democracy. It takes the congress working in order for the president to effectively do his/her job. If they sit back and sit on their hand, FACTUAL there is next to nothing the president ( no matter who it may be) can really do.
Now that is LEGAL fact, and I guess facts just get in the way of ignorance.

Let me try to end this with three points:

Firstly my apologies for starting this thread, i was trying to make a joke in the midst of the debate while invoking our hero Manti Teo and tying him to the Mormon on the screen...bad idea

Secondly BB&G: the phrase your boy is a commonly used expression where I come from in Ireland. Looking back and obviously being in America I totally see your point and apologize for not seeing the connotation you raise

Thirdly, no matter my politics Mr. Obama is my President also and, as such, will also have my support and respect while he is in office as would any President.

Lastly, no more politics on this board from me...I swear!

I've got news for you...

We're all socialists. Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc.; those are all socialist programs. You don't like 'em? Leave the country. Oh, yeah. You can't. Because everywhere else in the world that's an advanced society has universal health coverage for every single citizen. Socialism isn't a dirty word. Corporatism is.
