Rochell Commits To Notre Dame

McDonough (Ga.) Eagle's Landing defensive end Isaac Rochell took a return trip to Notre Dame to get another look at what the Irish have to offer and it turned out to be just what he needed.

"Yes I committed," Rochell confirmed with

Rochell returned to South Bend earlier in the week for his second-ever trip to campus.

"The visit was almost perfect," the 6-5, 260-pound four-star recruit said after the visit. "Notre Dame is first on my list. Just the academics and prestige really stand out to me."

Near perfect was enough to push his "99 percent" certainty that he wanted to be at Notre Dame full throttle.

Rochell, who notched 97 tackles, 24 tackles for loss and seven sacks in his junior season, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 7 strongside defensive end nationally, the No. 12 prospect in Georgia and the country's No. 106 overall recruit.

He's No. 14 of the 2013 recruiting class and the second defensive end in the haul.
